2011 Attendance Awards

Oklahoma Interpak celebrated their annual Employee Christmas party on Wednesday, December 21st during the noon hour.  This year's food theme was "toothpicks only", which meant if it could be eaten from a toothpick, chip or cracker, you could bring it as your dish.  Everyone had great fun with this and we had a lot of good food from all the employees.  Brought back by popular demand from last year's Christmas party, was another game of Dirty Santa.  Anyone who wanted to participate brought a tasteful item purchased for $5 or less.  As usual the game provided some great entertainment for everyone.  A special recognition and gift card was presented during this year's Christmas party for those employees who had 98-100% attendance for 70% of the year or better.  Ten special employees were recognized during the party.  Their hard work and dedication are much appreciated.  Also during the party, John Schilt addressed the employees regarding  Oklahoma Interpak's 2011 achievements and Eric Elgin spoke to everyone about our hopes and plans for the 2012 year.  All-in-all, the Christmas party was a good time and a great way to start off our Christmas weekend.

Outstanding Website Award

In November of this month, Oklahoma Interpak was presented with the "Outstanding Website" award during the 2011 Business & Industry Banquet and Awards ceremony, which is hosted by the Indian Capital Technology Center along with partners, Muskogee City/County Port Authority and Muskogee Chamber of Commerce.  Eric and Julie Elgin were in attendance to accept the award.

2011 River Rumba Corrugated Boat Race

The Oklahoma Interpak River Rumba men and women's teams did extremely well again this year at the 2011 River Rumba Corrugated Boat races. The River Rumba is an annual event sponsored by the Muskogee Exchange Club, Muskogee Parks and Rec, and The Muskogee Port Authority. The Oklahoma Interpak Women's team took 1st place again this year in the "Marrianne and Ginger" category and the Men's team took 2nd again the "3 men and up" category. Many employees and their families turned out for the day's event to cheer their co-workers on. This year's t-shirt theme was military in support of our troops overseas. Oklahoma Interpak donated well over 1000 corrugated sheets to the event for contestants to use in building their corrugated boats. We are proud of all the employees who participated in crewing, and building the boat as well as all of those who came out to support our company.
